Yukon Environment is seeking a contractor to conduct field surveys and build a reference dataset for predictive wetland mapping across 49,533 km² in the Eagle Plains, North Ogilvie Mountains, and Old Crow Basin ecoregions. The work includes collecting ground-truth data, digitizing mapped features, and attributing wetland classes to support accurate landscape-scale wetland prediction. This project matters for environmental planning, habitat management, and land-use decision-making in northern Yukon, including areas within Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in and Vuntut Gwitchin traditional territories.
