Community: Stewart Crossing and Pelly Crossing Traditional Territory: Selkirk First Nation and First Nation of Na-Cho Ny?k Dun This project consists of construction of approximately 21.6 kilometres of the Klondike Highway #2 from kilometre 498.4 to kilometre 520.0. The work consists of but is not limited to: mobilization and demobilization; traffic control; grubbing; clearing and salvage; stripping; drilling, blasting and rock excavation; constructing rock embankment; roadway excavation; constructing subgrade, sub-base and base courses; constructing geosynthetic reinforced soil (GRS) embankments; removal and disposal of existing corrugated steel pipe; removing and disposing guiderail; installing corrugated steel pipes; supplying and applying calcium chloride; and environmental compliance.
