Description of work: The project includes restoration of highway surface and construction of a Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST) for approximately 17.9 kilometres at various locations of the Alaska Highway #1 from kilometre 1762 to kilometre 1790, approximately the Donjek River Bridge to the Koidern River #1 Bridge. The works consists of but is not limited to: Loading, Hauling, Placing and Compacting Granular "A"; Restoring Roadway Surface; Supply of HF-250S Emulsified Asphalt; Construction of Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST); Restoring Existing W-Beam Guiderail; Traffic Control; and Environmental Compliance.
