DFO is seeking an engineering consultant to study sedimentation at Rondeau Harbour (Erieau, Ontario) and develop conceptual options to address harbour access issues. Work includes coastal engineering analysis, bathymetric and sediment field studies, wave and hydrodynamic modelling, assessment of breakwater repair/relocation/removal options, environmental and permitting review, and Class D cost estimates. The goal is to identify a technically sound preferred solution at the conceptual design stage to improve harbour entrance and basin performance.
