Excavation of Archeological Resources in the Priority Active Area - Natashquan

Fisheries and Oceans Canada has issued an advance contract award notice in Quebec for archaeological excavation at the future Natashquan fishing port. The work covers about 640 m2 in the active construction area and includes documenting, excavating, recording, and recovering archaeological resources to clear the right-of-way. The supplier must meet Quebec and Parks Canada archaeology standards, have senior historical archaeology experience, and be eligible for a Quebec archaeological permit. Completion is required by September 15, 2026.
