Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) seeks to enhance existing Ecosystem Service Models to accurately assess marine ecosystem services (MES) and their sensitivity to human activities. The contract aims to refine current models and develop new ones that consider additional services, ensuring compatibility with existing tools. This work will support informed decision-making regarding trade-offs between ecosystem service supply and human uses, ultimately benefiting coastal communities and improving the understanding of ocean-related benefits for Canadians.
