Correctional Service Canada has issued an ACAN in Agassiz and Harrison Mills, British Columbia for Elder Helper services supporting Indigenous offender programming. The contractor will assist Elders with ceremonies, counselling, cultural teachings, case-management support, scheduling, reporting, and staff cultural awareness sessions at Mountain Institution and Kwìkwèxwelhp Healing Village, with travel to other BC institutions as needed. This is an Indigenous set-aside and requires reliability status. The work is planned for July 31, 2026 to March 31, 2028, with one possible one-year extension.
