The Certification and Engineering Bureau (CEB) seeks hardware and software upgrades for its CMX500 base station simulator to enhance its capabilities as a standalone measurement platform. The upgrades will enable proactive market surveillance, advanced engineering assessments, interference checks, and facilitate market access for compliant wireless products. Additionally, the enhancements will support testing for 5G FR1, FR2, and emerging FR3 bands, improving CEB's capacity for RF interference and exposure testing, particularly for next-generation devices.
