Correctional Service Canada seeks Indigenous Elder Helper services in BC’s Fraser Valley to support Indigenous offenders at Matsqui and Mission institutions. The work includes assisting Elders with ceremonies, counselling, cultural teachings, offender supervision, scheduling, reporting, and staff cultural awareness sessions to strengthen healing, reintegration, and culturally safe care. The opportunity is PSIB set-aside and requires English, reliability clearance, and relevant Elder Helper experience.
