Mediator Consultant - Alberta for the Farm Debt Mediation Service (FDMS)

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada seeks Alberta-based professionals to deliver on-call financial counselling and farm debt mediation services under the Farm Debt Mediation Service. Contractors will assess farmers’ financial situations, support recovery plans, facilitate confidential negotiations with creditors, and document final agreements. The work is critical to helping distressed farmers reach workable debt solutions. Four 5-year contracts will be awarded for ongoing task-based assignments.
