The National Research Council Canada (NRC) intends to award a contract for an Optical Particle Analyzer (OPA) to facilitate powder synthesis activities. The OPA must meet specific technical requirements for analyzing powders in both in-situ and ex-situ configurations, using shadow imaging or direct imaging techniques, and providing real-time data analysis. The procurement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The pre-identified supplier, Mazlite Inc., is chosen based on their exclusive ownership of the necessary intellectual property for integrating the OPA into the existing plasma system.
