UPDATE OF NATIONAL INSTREAM FLOW NEEDS (IFN) REFERENCE POINTS FOR THE PROTECTION OF FISH AND FISH HABITAT

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) seeks a Contractor to assess and potentially revise the recommended flow thresholds advice across Canada. The Contractor must review current methods, analyze hydrological impacts, propose revised guidelines, and standardize them nationally. Requirements include a PhD in relevant fields, experience in research and publications, proficiency in statistical analysis software, knowledge of DFO programs and regulations, and extensive interdisciplinary experience in ecohydrology and IFN. Collaboration with various partners and over 15 years of experience are also required.
