The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) in the Ontario Region is seeking Elder services for Indigenous offenders to promote healing and cultural understanding. The Elder must provide ceremonial, spiritual, advice, guidance, and case management services, as well as participate in regional and national meetings. The contract requires work at the Joyceville Assessment Unit, English language proficiency, and adherence to security requirements. The supplier must be recognized as an Elder/Cultural Advisor, have experience in delivering spiritual and cultural services, and meet specific criteria. The contract is set aside for an Indigenous Supplier and is valued at $466,572.08 for an initial 8-month period, with possible extensions.
