Ultramicrotome Sample Preparation System

The National Research Council of Canada requires the supply of an ultramicrotome sample preparation system for scanning electron microscopy analysis, including energy dispersive spectroscopy. The system will support the characterization of sample materials related to electro-catalysis, battery materials, supercapacitor materials, and sorbent materials for carbon dioxide storage. The ultramicrotome must be capable of precision cutting to remove ultrathin sections from various sample materials, with deliverables expected within 8 weeks of contract award.
