Curran Cabin Addition and Deck Extension at Long Point National Wildlife Area

Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a tender in Gravelly Bay, Long Point National Wildlife Area, Norfolk County, Ontario, for a two-phase contract to qualify bidders for a cabin addition and deck extension. The work includes framing, roofing, siding, windows and doors, interior finishing, electrical installation, and construction of a wraparound deck at a remote, boat-access-only federal site. A possible option may add full re-siding of the existing cabin. On-site work is scheduled for September 1 to November 15, 2026. Estimated value is $100,000 to $150,000 before tax.
