DFO seeks a self-sufficient contractor to receive, rear, and monitor 200,000–400,000 sockeye fry at Tatsamenie Lake, BC, beginning spring 2026. Work includes on-lake rearing, disease/predation prevention, and a smolt mark-recapture program from mid-May to early September to estimate outmigration and sample otoliths for age/origin data. The project supports sockeye enhancement and may extend through 2029.
