Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) seeks to develop analytical methods for detecting and measuring two substituted phenols in industrial effluents, municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), and surface water. The methods should achieve detection limits approximately one order of magnitude below levels protective of aquatic organisms or the lowest technically feasible level.
