DFO needs a contractor to carry out Atlantic salmon monitoring at Muddy Bay and Southwest Brooks in Newfoundland and Labrador. Work includes installing, operating, and removing counting fences, plus conducting related scientific sampling to enumerate smolt and/or adult salmon. The data will support stock assessment, conservation decisions, and fisheries management by improving understanding of salmon abundance and trends in the region.
