Provide field-based fisheries monitoring for Arctic char in Darnley Bay, including enumerating catches, measuring biological data, and supporting harvest-based stock assessment. Work includes monitoring the Hornaday River fishery and sampling char from Lasard Creek and Tippi to understand population status and the possible ‘Blue char’ variant. The results will help manage and enforce the Hornaday Char Fishing Plan and assess fishery impacts on the stock.
