Natural Resources Canada has issued a tender in southern Ontario for core drilling and monitoring well installation in the Lower Grand River watershed. The contractor must drill several boreholes, convert them into environmental monitoring wells, and support hydrogeological characterization by collecting core and groundwater samples. Work is expected to start in the third week of September 2026, with about four sites and optional additional sites, to depths of roughly 50 m, with two wells potentially deeper.
