ACAN - Vacuum Air Induction Melting Furnace (V AIM)

The Department of National Resources Canada (NRCan) requires a new vacuum/air induction melting furnace (V/AIM) for simulating secondary steelmaking processes in the Electric Melting Pilot Platform (EMPP). The intention is to award the contract to Consarc Corporation, but if other suppliers present qualifying capabilities, a full tendering process will be initiated.
