The RM of Connaught is seeking a contractor to replace Barnett’s Bridge over Crooked River with a new bridge structure and roadway tie-ins. Work includes demolition and salvage of the existing 3-span timber bridge, pile installation, concrete abutments/caps/backwalls, precast girders, road raising and regrading, culvert removal, erosion protection, and new bridge rail fabrication and installation. This is a major civil/bridge construction project important for restoring safe, reliable transportation across the river and improving drainage and approach stability.
