The Town of Kamsack is seeking a contractor to close and decommission its municipal landfill south of town. The job includes site mobilization, traffic and safety management, erosion and stormwater controls, grading and compacting waste, preparing borrow areas, and building an engineered clay cap over the southern landfill area, followed by a topsoil layer and site restoration. This is a specialized earthworks and environmental closure project that must meet design slope and cap requirements to safely seal the landfill and support long-term environmental protection.
