SaskPower is seeking a contractor to upgrade fire protection at the Coteau Creek Hydroelectric Station. The work includes replacing eight south-side powerhouse windows with new fire-rated assemblies and installing a new fire barrier system on three GSU transformer firewalls. The goal is to bring the site into compliance with fire protection requirements around critical electrical equipment. Work will be done during planned outages and is expected to run over a two-year period starting in August 2026.
