The Route 6 – Bayview 2026 project requires contractors to perform cold planning of a 2.6-meter strip along the road shoulder, removing 50mm of existing asphalt and shoulder material. This will be followed by placing a 50mm asphalt base in the cold planed area and a 40mm full-width asphalt seal.
