Public Health Ontario has issued an ACAN in Toronto, Ontario for Thermo Fisher preventative maintenance and service on molecular testing equipment used across PHO labs in Toronto, London, Kingston, Timmins, Ottawa and Thunder Bay. The work covers proprietary PCR and Sanger sequencing instruments, including QuantStudio, SimpliAmp, Varioskan Lux and 3500xL systems, to keep them operational and compliant. PHO intends a one-year sole-source award to Life Technologies if no other qualified supplier responds.
