Birddog and Detection Aircraft Services

Ontario is seeking up to seven fixed-wing birddog aircraft services and up to ten aerial detection aircraft services to support wildland fire suppression, mainly in Ontario and potentially elsewhere in Canada or the U.S. Contractors will provide aircraft, pilots, and related support for fire surveillance, early detection, incident coordination, airspace control, and directing air tanker operations. This is mission-critical work that helps locate fires early and improve the speed and effectiveness of initial attack and ongoing suppression efforts.
