Ontario is seeking a long-term acquirer to process credit and debit card payments for provincial ministries across 770+ merchant locations, 2,060 terminals, and 60+ websites, handling 13.7 million transactions worth over $1.6 billion annually. The supplier must provide payment processing, merchant setup, device ordering, reporting, and support for multiple channels including in-person, online, IVR, kiosks, mail/telephone orders, and seasonal sites. The work is critical to modernize Ontario’s payment infrastructure, support ministry-specific settlement and controls, and manage a phased transition from the current provider.
