Ontario’s Public Guardian and Trustee needs a qualified vendor to appraise personal property held for mentally incapable clients, including art, antiques, jewelry, watches, gems, coins, stamps, and rare banknotes. The work supports accounting and decisions on whether items should be secured in OPGT vaults, returned to families, or sold. Appraisals must start quickly, with regular in-office visits in Toronto and occasional on-site appraisals at client residences across Ontario. This is a specialty valuation contract for firms with expertise in collectibles and high-value personal assets.
