West Street Watermain Replacement

Town of Antigonish is seeking a contractor to upgrade West Street from Trunk 4 to James Street by replacing the watermain and rebuilding roadway and sidewalks. Work includes removing and installing concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk, milling and replacing asphalt, capping/filling old infrastructure, and adjusting catch basins, manholes, and valve boxes. Traffic control is also required. This is a coordinated utility-and-road reconstruction project aimed at improving underground services, road condition, and pedestrian safety.
