Halifax Water is seeking a qualified contractor to collect, transport, and safely dispose of hazardous chemical waste from facilities across HRM. The work includes removal of contaminated drums, lab reagents, cyanide-containing waste, spill cleanup materials, and other chemical residues from spills or expired product. The goal is environmentally responsible handling and disposal to protect staff, facilities, and the environment. This is a 24-month contract suited to firms with hazardous waste collection, transport, and compliant disposal capabilities.
