Island Health is seeking a general contractor to upgrade the Gorge Road Hospital Patient Care Tower by removing deteriorated wood siding on the first and second floors and replacing it with a durable new building-envelope system and composite cladding. The project includes envelope repairs, flashing, and related façade work to improve weather protection, longevity, and building performance. Contractors with experience in hospital renovations, exterior envelope upgrades, and occupied-facility construction would be well suited. Target ready-for-takeover date is January 4, 2027.
