The City of Burnaby needs an ecological restoration consultant team to assess and design a long-term forest management plan for 0.9 hectares of degraded urban forest in Halifax Park. The work includes forest regeneration strategies, understory planting, invasive species control, habitat enhancement, trail improvements, and adaptive management. The plan will set the roadmap for future restoration and construction work, so expertise in urban forestry, silviculture, environmental assessment, and natural asset management is essential.
