District of Houston - Water Treatment Plant Filter Media Replacement

Urban Systems has issued a tender in British Columbia for filter media replacement at the District of Houston Water Treatment Plant. The work includes removing and disposing of existing media, inspecting filter vessels and internal components, replacing anthracite/greensand/sand/gravel in six pressure filters sequentially to keep potable water running, and performing chlorination and bacterial testing. Optional repairs to damaged or fouled filter components may also be required.
